Fresh Start Money Map
January is the easiest month to start fresh with money. One page is enough to see where you stand.
See the whole picture
A money map is one page showing what comes in, what goes out, what you owe and what you have. Seeing it together makes the next step obvious.
Don't fix anything yet. The first job is just to write it down honestly.
Choose one goal
Pick a single goal for the year, like a starter emergency fund or paying off one card. One clear goal beats five vague ones.
How to use it
- List every balance you owe and every account you have, even the small ones.
- Write down your monthly take-home pay before planning anything else.
- Pick one money goal for the year and keep it where you'll see it.
- Set a date each month to update the map. Fifteen minutes is plenty.
A one-page reset for your bills, balances and goals for the year ahead.
